Lord of the rings online
And so, my daily routine began. Taskboard items for Gundabad, easy delvings, 2 easy missions. Taskboards gave some 1,6 million xp a day. Delvings provided with taskboard items. Everything was going as always.
Well, if not for famous Lotro community. One nice day, I sit in Regional chat, occasionally looking if there is anyone. One known player comes. Asks how long am I doing this. I proposed to clarify question and some 15 minutes there was complete silence. At my post – “Silence :-/” there was long answer how bad and worst I was, how that famous player was wasting time with me. When asked to say any prof he just went into silence again. How typical for World chat members! First, use patronizing tone (“I am adult, you are just worthless kid”), then accuse of anything and conclude with “I waste my time with you”. No, I did not put that creature on ignore. He just demonstrated how World chat looks like: arrogant, patronizing trolls. Which proves that World is not worth giving another chance.
At the other side there were some kind and helpfull players. They shared their thoughts, we discussed levelling strategies. One even remembered me helping her. God, bless those players.
I got into some crafting: gathered (thanks to very kind teleport to Umbar) some Umbari Scholar stuff, then went to Bree, activated rapid crafting and + 50% crafting xp. Recycling helped, I am not fully expert in Umbari craft.
Then – finally, finished Azanulbizar quest line. It was long, at one point – problematic, buit I finished it. Read only half of texts. Nar’s line was really impressive. As wonderous as one could think – it was kind of interesting (if a bit too long).
Result of several days grind: I am level 141. Now I have 17 million xp to grind. Delvings now provide with valuable Umbar taskboard items. Ones I will hoard and use at the very last moment.
Side notes: somebody calculated Umbar gives entire 65 Lotro points! That’s probably all time anti-record. Next “expansion” would probably give 6. Add lots of bugs – and you have probably most disastrous content. Yet nobody cares. These 65 points shows real price of Umbar: some 3 USD. And that is the argument to avoid such “expansion”.

Nothing happens, except some “wars” and situations “teleport to me, I won’t kill you”, while entire teleport system is designed precisely for that. I still look for a new server, not founding one.
My online life is a bit busy right now. Socialization is at almost zero. Absolutely no activity in Lotro, except few pre-Moria and Moria runs. I am waiting for “Black friday” – maybe lame Gundabad will be on heavy discount?
My gosh, what I need right now is just one friend in Lotro. One I could share thoughts and have laughs, run some content or just…do nothing. How much would I give to have one!
But this is not going to happen in cold, arrogant community of Lotro.
