Lord of the rings online
Stormsong was busy. First, dailies in Mordor. These went good, never was killed and got some 2 bound black keys.
Nothern Mirkwood dailies: went nice too. Had to wait to pick up all 8, then quickly ran them…and preserved 2 quests for future. These were nice and quick too. Loot was not so impressive – mostly ash.
I finally finished N.Mirkwood treasure chest deed. Took me at least three tries. My mistake: when I first discovered treasure chest, I did not write its location. There were some I failed to find. Was lucky to find one friendly player (Minstrel!) from another Kinship. He guided me, helped in finding several chests. Rest I found myself: went to chest location untill I saw that lame thing, moved on. Deed was done, 5 Lotro points granted.
All that remains is only one deed: Restoring Nothern Kingdom. Yes, one to finish 100 dailies. I will do it soon and all deeds in N.Mirkwood would be done. Then – bound key, free goat and some Lotro points. Yay!
Talked to one very friendly kinnie. He told me about developers twitch (I never watch this, never read official forums, considering all this ingfo to be pure propaganda). Cordovan promised new armour that would drop from Featured instance, tier 2 challenge. “Oh, so holy RNG again…” – murmured I. Not exactly: succesfull run would result in 1 token. One piece would go for 3-5 tokens. No talks about new essences. Classes to have DPS increased. Yes, increased, not decreased. “Less grind” promised.
Could it be a miracle that developers actually started to play their own game and listen to other players? I wish this be true. LOTRO is an excellent game that deserve developers who play and care and listen.
Kinnie also encourages my Naktieskarys to run Mirkwood. Should be bit easier when I know many things (like: kill every Taurogrim/Orc even if you don’t need it). He assures my half-trash armour could be enough.
My plans are very clear: prepare those 8 quests for Thursday, then by Thursday I would have: 1 key from meta-deed; 1 key from Mirkwood dailies; 2 keys from Mordor dailies. Another point: grind reputation items for Mirkwood factions, store them for Naktieskarys.
And so weekend has ended – quite good and efficient in Lotro. Mirkwood is (kind of) easy and doable, if one has will to do.
