Lord of the rings online
An Easter: had to work on Saturday, then celebrate Sunday and Monday.
Stormsong did dailies, sometimes dying 3-4 times in a row, wasting mithrils to resurrect (otherwise – ride through hordes of enemies again). Frustrating sometimes.
Finally, my favourite weekly quest:finish 5 daily quests in each region. Agarnaith, Lhingris – 3/5, Talath Urui – 0/5, Dor Amarth – maybe 2/5 and Udun – 1/5. Yes, I would finish Agarnaith and Lhingris quickly, then would finish Udun. Dor Amarth is tricky (really depends if you meet other players:if not, you are screwed). Talath Urui is the worst, always was.
Managed to storm one Orc camp in Talath Urui, finish local Rare chests deed (and die several times in a row). One kind Guardian tried to help me, but we were both killed very soon. Only from second time we managed to win.
Was happy enough to help some players, especially one Hunter in Misty mountains. He needed to kill Thunder Lord. I ran, killing almost everything in sight, then nuking that noobish Lord and his guards. Somehow Hunter managed to finish one deed. Nice to hear.
Once again, talking to our nice and always helpfull kinnie about N. Mirkwood. I speak straight: this region did everything possible to turn me away. First half is dark, grumpy, with worthless rewards and very hard navigation. Grind for tokens, 1 quest – 1 token and I need some 600 of them . Yet I was wrong before. I was afraid of Minstrel and now she is my main. I was grumpy about Mordor and now I enjoy it. I will wait and see. Can’t promise “yes” or “no”. The fact is – right now there is no sense in grinding N.Mirkwood. Maybe later I will return there. Maybe not.
I am still alone in Lotro. But maybe must become used to it. And yeah, wait for Anniversary festival: it is nice, unlike that maze-nonsense.
So weekend has ended: almost effective and yet lonely in Lotro.
