Lord of the rings online
Once again, same delvings, quick “kill them all” run. Depositing stuff in carry-alls and that’s it.
Untill some 2 really nice Hobbits (lvl.23) asked for help in Great Barrow. We found a way to…circumvene…restrictions and started maze. Everything went nice, we joked, jumped, just had fun. In Thadur my Hobbits were really nice, they knew tactic, so it worked perfectly.
At least some nice, sweet relax from daily grind. As I have noticed, Lotro is no more fun to me. It’s all about grind: get ton of materials; kill ton of rats to finish deed; run same 45 missions within one week.
Lotro fanboys, who worship every step of SSG, discuss getting to King’s Gondor. Basically, it is: complete specific epic quest, get to specific location at specific town, then take a ride to town A, from there take a ride to town B, locate well-hidden NPC. Quite easy. Translating into English – unreachable for any normal player.
Yet I do like Lotro fanboys. They lack brains, thus they worship every step of SSG, defending it at all costs. Even if that comes at cost of their ability to actually think. Any grind is good and should be made harder; every region is a real masterpiece; every quest pack is wonderous. And, of course, any bug is not on developers to blame, oh no…never.
Bloxd
Nothing new. My “I leave tomorrow” player did not show up, but he won’t leave. Others were passive. Well, I must think about my own lobby, where I could build all I want on half the map…and not be afraid of anything.
Blade and Soul
After massivelyop’s user Utakata – who could resist to start a pigtailed journey here? I did my research…well, initially everything sounds nice. Races, classes – everything is ok, story does not matter much. Untill I ran into action combat. Which means something Mortal Kombat style: press up, down, right, left, up up up, down down left left up down right right right up – to execute some special attack or just dodge. Sorry, not for me. Pigtails should wait then.
Everything is so slow for me in online life. Not much fun. Nobody to talk to (even in Bloxd). No xp groups to join in Lotro, since I am too weak. No option to get to King’s Gondor or Umbar, because that is not possible. I wish I had some 10-20 thousand euros…to buy my own bloxd server where I could live according to my rules and enjoy creativity.
